Delight in birding as rosy-throated longclaws, and grey crowned cranes are usually commonplace sightings on drives.

Float through the channels at the beginning of the season when the floodplains are still filled with water.Specially-adapted motorboats can be used in very low water levels allowing for excellent birding opportunities and viewing of hippo, lechwe and puku.* Water levels permitting and mostly at the beginning of the season.

Wilderness Busanga Bush Camp – Dining Under The Stars

The "dining room" is shaded by the canopy of a majestic tree from which an unusual lantern chandelier hangs, romantically illuminating dinner. Evenings often wind up fireside, under the stars, ending a day of adventure and matchless hospitality.

Interpretive game drives in open 4x4 vehicles allow guests to view large numbers of plains game such as puku, red lechwe, buffalo, and wildebeest – even the rare roan antelope. The famed lions of Kafue that patrol this wilderness, cheetah, and wild dog may be seen as well.
