Day 1

Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

You'll depart from Nairobi early in the morning and drive south toward Amboseli National Park, a journey of about 4–5 hours through scenic plains and rural settlements. On clear days, the snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro gradually appears on the horizon, creating a dramatic welcome to Amboseli. You'll arrive at your lodge in time for lunch and some relaxation while enjoying views of the surrounding wilderness. In the afternoon, you will head out for your first game drive across the park’s open savannahs and swampy wetlands, which attract large herds of elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and wildebeest. Keep an eye out for predators such as lions and hyenas as the sun begins to set. You'll return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay while enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of the African bush.

Day 2

Exploring Amboseli National Park

You'll spend a full day exploring Amboseli National Park, starting with an early morning game drive when wildlife is most active, and the views of Mount Kilimanjaro are often at their clearest. Amboseli is world-renowned for its large elephant herds, offering incredible opportunities to observe these majestic animals at close range. The park’s varied habitats—including swamps fed by underground springs from Kilimanjaro, acacia woodlands, and open plains—support a wide range of wildlife such as giraffes, antelopes, hyenas, and over 400 bird species. You'll return to your lodge for a relaxed lunch and some leisure time before heading out again for an afternoon game drive. As golden light spreads across the plains, enjoy excellent photography opportunities before returning to the lodge for dinner and another overnight stay.

03Day 3

Day 3

Amboseli to Lake Naivasha

After breakfast, you'll depart Amboseli National Park and begin your scenic journey toward the Great Rift Valley and Lake Naivasha. The drive offers changing landscapes, from the dry Amboseli plains to the greener highlands of central Kenya. Arrive at your lakeside resort in time for lunch and a short rest. In the afternoon, enjoy a relaxing boat safari on the calm waters of Lake Naivasha, where pods of hippos can often be seen resting in the shallows, and African fish eagles soar overhead. Later, you may decide to go for an optional visit to Crescent Island for a guided walking safari among freely roaming giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. You'll return to your resort in the evening to enjoy the tranquil lakeside setting, followed by dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you'll depart Lake Naivasha and travel through the dramatic landscapes of the Great Rift Valley toward the iconic Masai Mara National Reserve. The journey takes you through small towns, rolling hills, and traditional Masai lands before arriving at your safari camp in time for lunch. After some relaxation, you will head out for an afternoon game drive across the Mara’s vast golden savannahs, famous for their incredible wildlife density. During your first exploration, you may encounter elephants, giraffes, large herds of zebras and wildebeest, and predators such as lions or cheetahs. As the sun sets over the plains, you will return to camp to enjoy dinner and an overnight stay surrounded by the sounds of the wild.

05Day 5

Day 5

Exploring Masai Mara National Reserve

You'll spend a full day exploring the remarkable landscapes and wildlife of the Masai Mara National Reserve. After an early breakfast, depart with packed picnic lunches for an extended game drive across the reserve’s vast savannahs and rolling hills. You'll search for members of the famous Big Five while also spotting cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, and large herds of grazing antelope. Depending on the season, you may witness part of the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration as thousands of wildebeest and zebras move across the plains. At midday, you'll stop at a scenic spot in the wild to enjoy your picnic lunch surrounded by nature. You will continue exploring different areas of the reserve in the afternoon before returning to camp in the evening for dinner and your final overnight stay in the Mara.

06Day 6

Day 6

Masai Mara to Nairobi

After breakfast, you will check out of your camp and begin your journey back to Nairobi. As you exit Masai Mara National Reserve, enjoy an en route game drive through the reserve, offering one last chance to spot wildlife and take photographs of the beautiful Mara landscape. You may encounter grazing herbivores, elephants moving across the plains, or even predators returning from early morning hunts. After exiting the reserve, continue the drive through the Maasai countryside and the scenic Rift Valley escarpment, with optional brief stops along the way. You'll arrive in Nairobi in the afternoon, where your unforgettable Kenyan safari adventure comes to an end.
