Nairobi to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our office representative, who will provide a brief orientation and introduce you to the exciting safari ahead. You will then depart Nairobi for Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary with your professional driver-guide, who will accompany you during your safari. Arrive in time for lunch at the iconic Salt Lick Safari Lodge, renowned as one of the world's most photographed safari lodges thanks to its distinctive architectural design. The lodge features 96 uniquely designed rooms, all elevated on stilts across 2 levels, offering exceptional views of the surrounding wilderness. After lunch, take some time to relax before heading out on an afternoon game drive. Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary is home to more than 50 species of mammals and over 390 bird species. During your game drive, you may encounter elephants, zebras, buffaloes, giraffes, lions, leopards, cheetahs, and antelope species. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

Spend the day exploring Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary with early morning and late afternoon game drives, the best times to observe and photograph the sanctuary's abundant wildlife. Keep an eye out for its diverse range of mammals and birdlife as you explore the scenic landscape. Lunch will be served at the lodge, followed by time to relax before your afternoon game drive. If you wish, you may also visit the Taita Hills World War I Museum, located within the sanctuary, to learn about the area's significant role during the First World War. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Taita Hills to Amboseli National Park

After breakfast, check out and depart for Amboseli National Park, arriving in time for check-in and lunch at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge. After lunch, take some time to relax or enjoy a refreshing swim in the pool before setting off on an afternoon game drive. Amboseli National Park is renowned for its large herds of free-ranging elephants and the spectacular backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak and the world's tallest free-standing mountain. The park is also a haven for bird enthusiasts, with over 400 recorded bird species, as well as a rich variety of other wildlife. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Exploring Amboseli National Park

Rise early to enjoy the best views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds gather around its summit. After breakfast, set out on a morning game drive in Amboseli National Park, returning to Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge for lunch and some time to relax. In the afternoon, head out on another game drive in search of the park's abundant wildlife. An optional visit to a traditional Masai village can also be arranged, offering an opportunity to experience their rich culture, customs, and way of life. Amboseli is renowned for its large herds of free-ranging elephants, spectacular views of Mount Kilimanjaro, and diverse wildlife. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5

Amboseli to Nairobi

Enjoy an early morning game drive, offering one last opportunity to experience the wildlife of Amboseli National Park. Return to the lodge for breakfast before checking out and departing for Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will be dropped off either at the airport for your onward flight home or at your hotel in Nairobi, marking the end of your memorable safari adventure.
