Spend four nights at the Bundox Explorer Camp in the heart of the Balule Private Nature Reserve. The lodge is small, simple, naturally luxurious and typical of an authentic safari. Our safari package includes all meals, guided morning and afternoon open vehicle safari drives, luxury accommodation and return transfers from the Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport.

Johannesburg to the Balule Private Nature Reserve

Day Includes: * Collection from the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport Bus Terminal at 07:00am * Guided Afternoon Safari Drive * Tented accommodation Departing from Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport Bus Terminal by 7:00am, you will travel east through the farmlands and onto the Kruger National Park. It is a five to six-hour drive from Johannesburg to Bundox Explorer Camp in the Balule Private Nature Reserve and travel to Hoedspruit with scheduled stops for bathroom breaks and leg stretches. Arrive mid-day in the Balule Private Nature Reserve and book into Bundox Explorer Camp. Enjoy a light meal and freshen up before departing late afternoon for a game drive in an open safari vehicle. Sundowners at a special vantage point.

Guided Off Road Open Vehicle Safari Drives

Day Includes: * Guided Morning and Afternoon Safari Drive * Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner * Opportunity to see the Big 5 * Tented accommodation Glorious days relaxing at the camp sandwiched between an early morning and late afternoon game drive with sundowners at a special vantage point. Safaris are conducted on the Balule Private Nature Reserve, offering an excellent opportunity to find the Big Five and other animals that inhabit the reserve. Enjoy a three-hour sunrise game drive in Balule Private Nature Reserve. Return for a hearty breakfast, relax around camp, bird watch at a hide or join a ranger for a guided bush walk. Depart late afternoon for a sunset game drive.

Morning Safari Drive and Return to Johannesburg

Day Includes: * Morning Open vehicle safari drive * Breakfast * Transfer to the OR Tambo Airport Bus Terminal arriving between 17:30 - 18:00pm. Set off for your last game drive in Balule Private Nature Reserve as the sun rises. Enjoy a late breakfast on your return before checking out. We depart late in the morning for the return journey to Johannesburg. Arrive at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg late afternoon (approximately 5:00pm).
