Johannesburg – Shalati Train on the Bridge-Fly In

You'll make your way to the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport to check into your prebooked flight from the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport to the Skukuza Airport. The flight route to the Kruger National Park in the Mpumalanga Province takes you over the wide-open spaces of the Highveld, down the escarpment, and through the scenic Lowveld region. You will be collected from the Skukuza Airport, check into your luxury train carriage suite, and have time to freshen up, enjoy a light lunch, and relax before departing on an open safari vehicle for your first afternoon game drive in the reserve. You'll go back to the lodge where a delicious dinner under starlight will await you. Your overnight stay will be in your luxury carriage suite at Shalati Train on the Bridge, and your deal includes lunch and dinner.

Guided Open Vehicle Safari Drives

You will receive an early wake-up call and be served a hot beverage and rusks before departing on your 3-hour game drive while the sun rises in the east. On return to the lodge, you can enjoy a brunch and choose to spend the rest of the day at the pool or just lazing around. Be ready for an afternoon game drive with an expert guide at about 4:00 pm, to return in time for another starlit dinner. Your overnight stay will be in your luxury carriage suite at Shalati Train on the Bridge. Your deal includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Day 5

Moring Safari Drive and Flight to Johannesburg

You'll wake up early again, enjoy a hot beverage and rusk, and depart on your last morning game drive. After witnessing the last African sunrise, you'll return to the lodge for breakfast before departing to the Skukuza Airport mid-morning to catch your departure flight back to the Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport. Your deal today includes breakfast at the lodge.
