Arrival Into the Untamed - The Private Hide

Upon arrival at Victoria Falls International Airport, guests are welcomed and transferred to Hwange National Park by road or air. On arrival at The Hide Safari Camp, guests are introduced to the camp and its surroundings before enjoying lunch. Time is allowed to relax after the journey, followed by an afternoon game drive exploring Hwange’s open plains, teak forests, and seasonal pans. Wildlife sightings often include large elephant herds and abundant bird life. Guests return to camp at sunset for dinner and overnight in a comfortable tent overlooking a natural waterhole.

Whispers of the Wild at Dawn

An early morning game drive allows guests to experience the park at its most active, with excellent chances of spotting predators and large herds. Breakfast is served back at camp, after which guests may enjoy the unique photographic hide, where wildlife approaches closely for water. After lunch and leisure time, an afternoon safari activity takes place, led by experienced guides who share insights into animal behaviour, tracking, and conservation. The evening concludes with dinner and relaxation around the campfire before overnight.

Walking with Nature's Footprints

Today offers a more immersive safari experience with a guided walking safari, allowing guests to explore Hwange on foot and learn about smaller details such as animal tracks, plants, and ecosystems. This activity provides a deeper connection to the bush. After breakfast, the rest of the morning is spent at leisure. Lunch is followed by relaxation time, with opportunities to observe wildlife from camp. An afternoon game drive provides further wildlife encounters before dinner and overnight at camp.

Guests enjoy a flexible safari day tailored to their interests. Activities may include extended game drives, hide visits, or simply relaxing at camp while wildlife gathers at the waterhole. Guides adjust activities based on wildlife movements and guest preferences. This slower pace allows guests to truly absorb the rhythm of the African bush. A farewell dinner is served in the evening, celebrating the safari experience and memories created during the stay.

After a final early morning activity and breakfast, guests check out and depart Hwange National Park.
