Hamiltons Tented Camp is situated in pristine bushveld on a 10 000 hectare private concession which is restricted to the exclusive use of safari lodges operating in the concession.

Johannesburg to Kruger National Park

Guests are picked up early in Johannesburg and driven to the Kruger National Park in a luxury tour vehicle. It’s about a 6-hour drive from Johannesburg to Hamiltons Tented Camp, with a stop along the way for snacks and refreshments. Arrive at mid-day, enjoy a light lunch and relax around the camp before it’s time to depart for a late afternoon game drive in the Mluwati Concession. Return to camp as the sun is setting and enjoy a 3-course dinner at the fine-dining restaurant.

02Days 2–4

Days 2–4

Kruger National Park

Wake up early for hot beverages and breakfast pastries before it’s time to depart for the morning Big Five game drive. Your professional game ranger has the option of staying within Mluwati Concession which may only be traversed by safari lodges operating in the private concession or venturing further for incredible wildlife and bird sightings in the rest of Kruger Park. Return to camp for a late breakfast and an afternoon of relaxation around the pool or pampering in the comfort of your safari tent. Enjoy a light lunch and high tea at the main lodge and be ready to depart late afternoon for a game drive. Dinner is served back at the camp.

05Day 5

Day 5

Kruger National Park to Johannesburg

Wake up early for hot beverages and breakfast pastries and then join your game ranger for your last game drive in the Mluwati Concession. Enjoy a late breakfast on your return before checking out. We'll depart late in the morning for the return journey to Johannesburg; stopping along the way for snacks and refreshments. Arrive at OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg late in the afternoon (between 5:00 pm -6:00 pm).
