01Day 1

Day 1

Arrival in Kasane

You will start your journey from Kasane. The road transfer to the lodge is included. The transfer is in an enclosed 4x4 vehicle with aircon and takes approximately 3 hours, driving through parts of Chobe, local villages and different 4x4 terrains. You can upgrade to a flight. High tea is served in the afternoon when you will meet your guide and fellow safari travelers. The game drive sets out on a private road network and ends at a scenic Baobab site, where you are assured of an amazing African sunset. Dinner is served once you are back at the lodge, and then it's off to your big, comfortable bed.

02Day 2

Day 2

Full-Day Safari in Savuti

You have the option of spending the whole day out in the bush. The day offers waterholes, marsh areas, baobab stretching points, riverside, and grasslands. There is also an opportunity to view some Bushmen paintings that can be found in the area. Refreshment stops and a picnic for lunch are also included. Should you prefer not to do a full-day safari, there are other options available to you. Either do an early morning and afternoon game drive, with the balance day at leisure at the lodge and enjoy the swimming pool. You can also sleep in and have a late morning game drive which will include lunch at a thatched viewing deck, as well as the late afternoon game drive.

03Day 3

Day 3

Transfer to Chobe National Park

After breakfast and once you have checked out, you will be transferred by road to the Nogatsaa Pans Lodge where you will spend the next two nights enjoying this remote location. Nogatsaa Pans Lodge is situated at Kwikamba Pan in Nogatsaa area of Chobe National Park, about 80 km south of the Chobe River.

04Day 4

Day 4

Game Activities in Chobe National Park

This will be a full day to explore this area. Nogatsaa area has a cluster of natural clay-bottom pans that fill during the rainy season. During the dry season, the pans get supplemented with water thereby reducing some wildlife pressure off the congested Chobe River and lends itself to some amazing game sightings. You will enjoy a morning and evening game drive plus enjoy some birdwatching and stargazing.

05Day 5

Day 5

Departure

After your morning game drive and breakfast, you will be transferred by road to Kasane where your journey ends. The road transfer is done in a 4x4 vehicle, and takes approximately 2 hours through part of Chobe. You can extend your safari with a transfer to Victoria Falls, for example.
