4-Day Safari in Kenya: Amboseli and Lake Nakuru

Your safari will begin with an early morning pick-up, ideally 8.00 am, from your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport in Nairobi. You will embark on a scenic 4 to 5-hour drive to Amboseli National Park, passing through the picturesque countryside. Upon arrival, you will check in at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, you will head out for an exciting game drive across the vast plains of Amboseli, where you can spot large herds of elephants, lions, cheetahs, zebras, and giraffes against the stunning backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. As the sun sets, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

You'll start your day with an early morning game drive, offering you the opportunity to witness the sunrise over Mount Kilimanjaro and spot wildlife in action. After breakfast and some rest at the lodge, you will depart for Lake Naivasha on a scenic drive that takes approximately 5 hours, with a stopover for refreshments along the way. Upon arrival, you will check in at a lakeside lodge or hotel and enjoy a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, opt for and experience a relaxing boat safari on Lake Naivasha (at additional cost), where you can spot hippos and a variety of bird species. You may also opt for a guided walk on Crescent Island to see giraffes, zebras, and antelopes up close. After the activities, in the late evening, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay by the lake.

The day begins with breakfast, followed by a 2-hour drive to Lake Nakuru National Park. Upon arrival, you will embark on a mid-morning game drive, exploring the park renowned for its stunning pink flamingos, white and black rhinos, Rothschild's giraffes, and tree-climbing lions. Around midday, you will enjoy a delicious lunch at a scenic lodge in the park. In the afternoon, continue your game drive, spotting buffaloes, leopards, and pelicans along the shores of the lake. As the sun sets, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

It's your last day, and you'll wake for an early morning game drive, providing one last chance to spot elusive wildlife and capture stunning photographs. After breakfast and check-out, you will depart for Nairobi on a 3-hour drive. Along the way, there will be an optional stop at the Rift Valley Viewpoint to take in breathtaking views of the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival in Nairobi, you will be dropped off at your hotel or the airport, marking the end of your memorable safari adventure.
