Nairobi to Masai Mara National Reserve

Your driver guide will pick you up from the airport or hotel and provide a brief safari introduction before departing for the Maasai Mara National Reserve. En route, stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for photos before continuing to the Mara, arriving in time for lunch. Afterward, relax at Loyk Mara Camp before heading out for an afternoon game drive. Return in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at camp.

Day 2

Explore the Masai Mara

After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve, with a packed lunch provided. Focus on spotting the Big Five and other abundant wildlife across the plains. A key highlight is the Great Wildebeest Migration (July to early October), often called the “world’s eighth wonder” and the largest animal migration on earth. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and a restful overnight stay.

Day 3

Masai Mara Game Drive

In the early morning, set out for a game drive in the Maasai Mara National Reserve in search of wildlife, including the Big Five. Return to camp for breakfast and enjoy a relaxed morning at your leisure. After lunch at camp, unwind during the early afternoon before heading out for another game drive later in the day. Return in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay at camp.

Day 4

Masai Mara National Reserve to Nairobi

After breakfast, depart from the camp for Nairobi, traveling from the Maasai Mara National Reserve. Expect to arrive in the late afternoon, where you can enjoy lunch at a restaurant of your choice. Optional activities include visiting the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust Elephant Orphanage, the Giraffe Centre, or experiencing traditional culture at a local boma, as well as dinner at the famous Carnivore Restaurant. Later, you will be dropped off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward flight.
