Johannesburg to the Shepherd's Tree Game Lodge

Self-drive to Shepherd's Tree Game Lodge from Johannesburg. A private transfer from Johannesburg can be arranged at an extra cost. Check in, enjoy a light lunch, and settle in before meeting at the main lodge for high tea. Then, depart on your evening game drive with a sundowner stop as the sun sets over the horizon. Return to the lodge to freshen up and enjoy dinner in the dining area or around an open-air boma. Retire to your suite for the evening.

Days 2–3

Morning and afternoon open-vehicle safari drives

Start the day with a thrilling 3-hour sunrise game drive in an open safari vehicle, led by Shepard’s Tree expert rangers, returning around 9 AM for a delicious breakfast. Relax at the lodge’s world-class facilities, including the renowned spa, or lounge by the pool. Enjoy a flavourful lunch, followed by a delightful high tea in the afternoon. Then, head out for a 3-hour sunset game drive from 4 PM to 7 PM in an open safari vehicle, seeking more wildlife magic. Return for a delectable dinner at the lodge.

Day 4

Morning safari drive and return to Johannesburg

Enjoy your wake-up call with coffee and tea before departing on your morning game drive with a sunrise coffee stop in the reserve. Return to the lodge for breakfast. At 10:30 am, check out and self-drive to Johannesburg. A private transfer to Johannesburg can be arranged at an additional cost.
