Diani to Tsavo East & Salt Lick

Morning: Begin your safari with a pickup from your hotel in a private 4x4 Land Cruiser jeep and drive to Tsavo East National Park. Midday: Enjoy a game drive through the park's open plains, home to large herds of red elephants, lions, and diverse birdlife. Afternoon: Continue your journey to the Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, a private conservancy bordering Tsavo West. Evening: Check into a luxury lodge, such as Salt Lick Safari Lodge, which is uniquely built on stilts and offers excellent opportunities for night viewing around its illuminated waterholes.

02Day 2

Day 2

Salt Lick to Tsavo West National Park

Morning: After breakfast, drive to Tsavo West National Park. The landscape here is more dramatic and varied, with volcanic hills and lava flows. Midday: Go on a game drive, looking for rhinos in the Ngulia Rhino Sanctuary, as well as elephants, lions, and other predators. Afternoon: Visit the Mzima Springs, where you can see hippos and crocodiles through an underwater observatory. This is a great spot for a picnic lunch. Evening: Settle into your luxury lodge in Tsavo West for the night.

03Day 3

Day 3

Tsavo West to Amboseli National Park

Morning: Drive to Amboseli National Park, located at the foothills of Mount Kilimanjaro. Midday: Embark on a game drive to observe the large elephant herds that the park is famous for, along with other wildlife, against the backdrop of Africa's highest peak. Afternoon: Continue your game drives as the light changes, which is ideal for photography. Evening: Stay in a luxury camp or lodge within or near the park for your final night.

04Day 4

Day 4

Amboseli National Park to Diani

Morning: Enjoy a final early morning game drive in Amboseli as you head back toward the coast. Midday: Have lunch at a lodge before beginning the drive back to your hotel in Mombasa or another starting point.
