Cape Town – Skukuza Airport – Kruger Shalati

Your safari begins with a morning flight from Cape Town International Airport to Skukuza Airport (SZK). Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Kruger Shalati. After check-in and lunch, take time to enjoy the spectacular surroundings and unique train-carriage accommodation overlooking the Sabie River. Later in the afternoon, depart on your first open-vehicle safari through Kruger National Park. Explore one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich ecosystems while searching for lions, elephants, rhinos, buffaloes, leopards, giraffes, zebras, and numerous antelope species. Return to the lodge after sunset.

Day 2

Full-Day Kruger National Park Safari

Depart before sunrise for a full-day safari adventure through Kruger National Park. Travel through diverse habitats and explore some of the park’s most productive wildlife viewing areas. Your expert safari guide will share fascinating insights into the wildlife, ecology, and conservation efforts that make Kruger one of the world’s premier safari destinations. Enjoy lunch at a rest camp within the park before continuing your safari throughout the afternoon. Return to Kruger Shalati in the late afternoon for relaxation and dinner.

Morning Safari & Leisure Afternoon

Enjoy an early morning safari when wildlife activity is at its peak. Witness the African bush awakening as predators return from their nightly hunts and herbivores begin their daily routines. The Skukuza region is renowned for exceptional sightings of leopards, lions, elephants, and abundant birdlife. Return to the lodge for breakfast and spend the remainder of the day enjoying the luxury facilities of Kruger Shalati. Relax by the iconic suspended pool overlooking the Sabie River or simply take in the incredible views from your carriage suite.

Morning at Leisure & Flight to Cape Town

Transfer to Skukuza Airport for your return flight to Cape Town, concluding your unforgettable luxury safari experience.
