01Day 1

Day 1

Johannesburg to Kruger National Park

Two shuttle buses depart daily from O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg at 06h45 and 10h45. It’s a 5 to 6-hour drive from Johannesburg to Imbali Safari Lodge in the Kruger National Park. We take the scenic route through the historic towns of the Panorama Route to Hoedspruit, with scheduled stops for bathroom breaks and leg stretches. Arrive midday at the Mluwati Concession and book an appointment at Imbali Safari Lodge. Enjoy a light meal and freshen up before departing late afternoon for a game drive in an open safari vehicle. Enjoy sundowners at a special vantage point. Later, enjoy a 3-course dinner under the stars at the outdoor boma at Imbali Safari Lodge (weather dependent).

02Days 2–3

Days 2–3

Kruger National Park

Spend 2 glorious days relaxing at the camp, sandwiched between an early morning and late afternoon game drive and sundowners at a special vantage point. Safaris are conducted on the private Mluwati Concession, which has unlimited access to the public roads of the Kruger National Park. A professional game ranger and expert tracker will take you around in an open safari vehicle. You will have tea and coffee before you depart for the sunrise game drive, a light informal brunch back at Imbali Safari Lodge, and an afternoon of relaxation before departing for the evening game drive. Enjoy sundowners at a special vantage point and a delicious 3-course dinner under the stars in the outdoor boma. Included: Breakfast, hot beverages, light brunch, sundowner drinks and a 3-course dinner.

04Day 4

Day 4

Kruger National Park to Johannesburg

Wake up early for tea and coffee and then depart for a sunrise safari tour of the Mluwati Concession. Enjoy a light breakfast back at Imbali Safari Lodge before checking out of your chalet. You’ll be driven to Hoedspruit mid-morning to catch the shuttle bus back to O.R. Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg. You will arrive in Johannesburg between 17h30 and 18h00, depending on traffic.
