Nairobi to Masai Mara (Flight & Afternoon Game Drive)

Begin your adventure with a morning transfer to Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Masai Mara. Enjoy a scenic 45-minute flight over the Great Rift Valley, with breathtaking aerial views of vast plains and meandering rivers. Upon landing at the airstrip, your safari guide will welcome you and transfer you to your luxury camp/lodge, where you’ll check in and enjoy a delicious lunch. After some relaxation, embark on your first thrilling afternoon game drive. The Mara is home to the Big Five - lions, elephants, buffalos, leopards, and rhinos - as well as cheetahs, giraffes, and countless antelope species. Your guide will take you through the open plains, tracking wildlife and stopping for sundowners at a scenic spot. As the sun sets, return to your camp/lodge for a gourmet dinner under the African sky before retiring for the night, surrounded by the distant calls of the wild.

Day 2

Full-Day Game Drive in Masai Mara

Rise early for a sunrise game drive, when predators are most active, hunting before the heat of the day sets in. Witness the golden savannah come to life with grazing herds and prowling big cats. If you’re visiting between July and October, you may witness the great migration, where thousands of wildebeests and zebras cross the Mara River, braving crocodile-infested waters. Return to the camp for a hearty breakfast, then spend the late morning at leisure - relaxing in your luxury tent, taking a nature walk with a Maasai guide, or indulging in spa treatments. After lunch, set out for another game drive, tracking elusive leopards, observing hippos and crocodiles in the river, and marveling at the vast, untouched wilderness. End the day with a sundowner before heading back for dinner and an optional Maasai cultural experience around a bonfire.

Balloon Safari & Afternoon Game Drive

For an unforgettable experience, wake up before dawn for an (optional) hot-air balloon safari. Drift silently over the endless plains as the sun rises, spotting wildlife from above. Upon landing, enjoy a champagne bush breakfast in the heart of the reserve. Spend the rest of the morning at leisure, enjoying the tranquil surroundings of your camp. After lunch, embark on another exciting afternoon game drive, exploring new areas of the Mara. Your guide will take you to hidden gems of the reserve, where you may witness a pride of lions feasting or elephants roaming freely. Stop by the Mara River to observe hippos and crocodiles before heading back for a farewell dinner under the stars.

Day 4

Morning Game Drive & Flight Back to Nairobi

Enjoy a final early morning game drive, taking in the last sights and sounds of the Mara at sunrise. This is the perfect time for photographers to capture dramatic landscapes and close encounters with wildlife. Return to camp for breakfast, then check out and transfer to the airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi. Upon arrival at Wilson Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel or the international airport, marking the end of your incredible 4-day fly-in safari to Masai Mara. We hope it was an experience filled with adventure, breathtaking landscapes, and unforgettable wildlife encounters.
