Day 1

Arrival and Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, your driver-guide will pick you up for the scenic drive to the world-famous Serengeti National Park, a vast wilderness spanning nearly 15,000 square kilometers. Nicknamed “the endless plains” by the Maasai, the Serengeti is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and extraordinary wildlife. Home to the legendary Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and black rhino—the park also hosts the Great Migration, where millions of wildebeests and zebras move in search of fresh grazing. From sweeping savannahs to iconic rocky outcrops, every turn offers a new discovery. After an exciting day of game viewing, you’ll arrive at your lodge within the park, where you can unwind, enjoy dinner, and spend the night surrounded by the raw beauty of the Serengeti.

Full-day Game Drive in Serengeti National Park

Awaken to the gentle sounds of the African wilderness and start your day with a refreshing breakfast in the heart of the Serengeti National Park. Today’s full-day game drive will immerse you in one of the world’s most iconic ecosystems—a true paradise for wildlife lovers. The Serengeti is home to approximately 3,000 lions, often seen resting in the shade or lounging under acacia trees, and is famously known as the real-life inspiration for The Lion King. As you explore the vast plains, you may also encounter bush elephants, Cape buffaloes, and an impressive variety of birdlife, including the stately Kori bustard and colorful Fischer’s lovebird. After a day of thrilling wildlife encounters and unforgettable scenery, you’ll return to your lodge, nestled within the park, where you can relax, enjoy a delightful dinner, and fall asleep under the stars with the sounds of the Serengeti all around you.

As you descend into this natural amphitheater, you’ll experience close-up encounters with wildlife set against a backdrop of lush plains and shimmering soda lakes, earning its reputation as “Africa’s Garden of Eden.” After a day filled with awe-inspiring sights, you’ll ascend from the crater and begin your transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha.
