Day 1

Nairobi– Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

Depart Nairobi early in the morning and drive south through the scenic Kenyan countryside towards Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, enjoying views of open plains and rural landscapes along the way. Arrive at Taita Hills in time for lunch and proceed to Salt Lick Safari Lodge, a unique elevated lodge overlooking a waterhole that attracts a variety of wildlife throughout the day. After check-in and lunch, take time to relax and enjoy wildlife viewing from the lodge as animals frequently visit the waterhole below. Later in the afternoon, embark on a guided game drive within the sanctuary, offering excellent opportunities to spot elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, lions, and an array of bird species. Return to Salt Lick Safari Lodge in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay, falling asleep to the sounds of the African wilderness.

02Day 2

Day 2

Full-Day at Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

Begin the day with an early morning game drive in Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary, when wildlife is most active and the cool morning conditions provide excellent viewing and photography opportunities. Return to Salt Lick Safari Lodge for breakfast, followed by time at leisure to relax at the lodge, enjoy the elevated walkways, or watch wildlife as it gathers at the waterhole below. Lunch is served at the lodge, after which guests head out for another afternoon game drive to explore different areas of the sanctuary and track wildlife movements as temperatures cool. The day ends with a return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, enjoying uninterrupted views of the surrounding wilderness.

03Day 3

Day 3

Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary – Nairobi

After an early breakfast at Salt Lick Safari Lodge, guests check out and begin the return journey to Nairobi. A short game drive may be taken while exiting the sanctuary, offering a final opportunity to spot wildlife in the early morning hours. The drive back to Nairobi is scenic and relaxed, with arrival in the afternoon, marking the end of a memorable short safari experience at Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary.
