3-Day Luxury Safari in Kenya’s Tsavo East National Park

Pick up from hotel or airport and drive to Salt Lick Wildlife Sanctuary. The journey takes you through lovely sceneries in the eastern part of Kenya, sight-seeing wild animals on the way and the different cultural setting of the community around. After a 4-hr drive you will arrive at a stop over town in Mtito Andei, where you will have a break, fuel up and continue with the journey. It is a 2 hour drive to the next town Voi town, where you will branch and head straight to the sanctuary gate. You will do a game drive enroute to the Taita hills resort and spa for lunch. After lunch, drive and arrive at the famous Saltlick safari Lodge, check in and then depart for an Evening game drive. Return back to the lodge for a sumptuous buffet dinner with a stunning view overlooking the floodlit waterhole, which gives you a close range view of the animals ending with good time for resting. Situated in Kenya’s south-west, Tsavo is an enormous wilderness area that has been divided into Tsavo East and Tsavo West National Parks. Combined, Tsavo is Kenya’s biggest park and, at 22,000 km² (13,671 miles), one of the world’s largest game sanctuaries. It is particularly well known for its large herds of elephants and captivating landscapes. Tsavo is one of the less populated game areas in Kenya and is perfect for those who want to enjoy a pristine wildlife experience. Have breakfast at 7.30 and leave at 8 a. m for a full day game drive in the park with a picnic lunch. After the picnic, drive through as you head back to the lodge late afternoon for resting.

Early morning game drive at 0630hrs. As you catch a glimpse of the sunrise, then back at 0800hrs for breakfast with a late departure to Nairobi.
