Mombasa to Tsavo West National Park

Your journey kicks off with an early morning transfer to the Mombasa Terminus, where you’ll board the Madaraka Express train bound for Voi Train Station. You'll enjoy scenic views of Kenya’s coastal landscapes, gradually blending into the wild savannah. Upon arrival at Voi Train Station, your guide will meet you and transfer you to your safari lodge inside Tsavo West National Park. After lunch, you'll head out for an exciting afternoon game drive inside the sanctuary, where you'll encounter elephants, zebras, giraffes, and possibly the elusive big cats. You'll return to your lodge in time for dinner and a restful night in the heart of the wild.

Day 2

Discover Tsavo West National Park – Wildlife & Wonders

You'll start the day with an early morning game drive to catch predators and grazers at their most active. After breakfast back at the lodge, you'll visit the Mzima Springs, a magical oasis where hippos and crocodiles thrive in crystal-clear waters. Then, you'll explore the Shetani Lava Flows, a dramatic volcanic landscape with captivating scenery. You'll spend the afternoon relaxing at the lodge or taking an optional guided nature walk. A sunset game drive is the perfect way to wrap up the day before enjoying dinner under the stars.

Day 3

Tsavo West to Mombasa – Return by Rail

After a leisurely breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and enjoy a final short game drive en route to Voi Train Station. You'll board the Madaraka Express train for your return journey to Mombasa, taking with you unforgettable memories of Tsavo’s wildlife, landscapes, and serenity. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel or residence, marking the end of a memorable safari.
