This 3-day safari takes you to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and oldest national park, for a classic Big Five experience. The tour includes a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track rhinos on foot, thrilling game drives in the Nile Delta, a boat cruise to the base of the falls, and a scenic hike to the top of Murchison Falls. The park is home to elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, and a wide variety of antelope and bird species.

Day 1

Pick up from Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Depart early from Entebbe or Kampala and drive north through Uganda’s scenic countryside. En route, stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for a guided walking safari to see white rhinos in their natural habitat. After lunch, continue to Murchison Falls National Park, arriving in the late afternoon. Check in at your lodge, enjoy dinner, and rest ahead of your game viewing adventure.

02Day 2

Day 2

Morning Delta Game drive and Afternoon boat cruise

Start the day with an early game drive in the Nile Delta, a hotspot for wildlife sightings including lions, elephants, giraffes, and the elusive shoebill stork. Return to the lodge for breakfast and lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a boat cruise along the Victoria Nile, spotting hippos, crocodiles, and more along the riverbanks as you approach the thunderous base of Murchison Falls. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

03Day 3

Day 3

Hiking top of the falls and departure to Entebbe

After breakfast, enjoy a guided hike to the top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile forces itself through a narrow gorge before plunging 43 meters below. Take in the breathtaking views before beginning your drive back to Entebbe. Optional lunch en route. Arrive in the late afternoon or early evening for drop-off at Entebbe International Airport.
