Explore the unique and vast wilderness of the Makgadikgadi National Park from the comfort of the Boteti River Camp, one of Botswana’s hidden gems. Overlooking the riverbed, Boteti River Camp is an oasis on the edge of Makgadikgadi National Park, close to the Khumaga entrance gate and within easy reach of Nxai Pan National Park and Central Kalahari Game Reserve. At Boteti River Camp, you will get to explore the Makgadikgadi National Park and observe Botswana’s unique rural culture.

Meet & Greet - Departure from Maun

This morning in Maun, we will pick you up from your hotel and take a road transfer to Boteti River Camp. The journey takes about 3 hours by road. Once settled in camp, you will check in and enjoy lunch before a short siesta, followed by an afternoon activity.

Day 2

Full Day in Boteti River Camp

Enjoy a light breakfast prepared by our chef in camp as the sun rises before heading out on a morning game drive exploring the Makgadikgadi National Park. After lunch in camp, the afternoons will be spent on another game drive. You will return to the camp at sunset for dinner and wind the day down around a lovely campfire.

Road Transfer Back to Maun

Today, we will go on a short game drive, then pack up and transfer back to Maun, where we will say our final goodbyes.
