Arrival at RockFig Safari Lodge

You can either catch a shuttle from OR Tambo International Airport at 7 AM or fly into Hoedspruit Airport from Cape Town or Johannesburg, both of which will take you to RockFig Safari Lodge. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed and treated to a light lunch, setting the tone for your stay. Afterward, depart on your first exciting afternoon game drive in the stunning Timbavati region, where you'll have the opportunity to spot a variety of wildlife. The day culminates with a delightful dinner, providing a perfect introduction to the beauty of the African wilderness.

Day 2

Walking Safari & Game Drive

Immerse yourself in nature with a guided walking safari, where you’ll track animals on foot and gain a deeper understanding of the ecosystem. Later, engage with a local community project to learn about the culture and traditions of the area, or simply unwind at the lodge. As the sun sets, depart on an evening game drive, followed by a cozy dinner by the fire, sharing stories of the day’s adventures.

Day 3

Morning Safari & Departure

Your shuttle will drive you to OR Tambo Airport for arrival between 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM, or to Hoedspruit Airport for your returning flight.
