Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

Your adventure begins with a morning pick-up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) or your Nairobi hotel. Travel north through Kenya's scenic highlands before arriving in Samburu National Reserve. Enjoy an en-route game drive as you make your way to Elephant Bedroom Camp, where you'll check in and enjoy lunch overlooking the river. Later, embark on your first afternoon game drive in search of the reserve's remarkable wildlife, including the unique Samburu Special Five: Grevy's Zebra Reticulated Giraffe Somali Ostrich Beisa Oryx Gerenuk You may also encounter elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, buffaloes, crocodiles, and numerous bird species before returning to camp for dinner.

Safari in Samburu National Reserve

After breakfast, depart with packed picnic lunches for a full day exploring Samburu's spectacular wilderness. Accompanied by your private safari guide, visit different habitats across the reserve while searching for: Large elephant herds Lions Leopards Cheetahs Hyenas Hippos Nile crocodiles African wild dogs (occasionally) Numerous antelope species Over 450 bird species Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic location before continuing your afternoon game drives. As the day draws to a close, experience a breathtaking African sunset before returning to camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Bush Breakfast then proceed to Nairobi

Wake early for one of the highlights of your safari—a beautifully prepared bush breakfast served in the heart of the African wilderness. Enjoy breakfast surrounded by nature while listening to birdsong and taking in the peaceful atmosphere before returning to camp to check out. Begin your scenic drive back to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to: Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), or Your Nairobi hotel. Your unforgettable Samburu safari comes to an end.
