Umkumbe Safari Lodge Riverside overlooks the seasonal Sand River in the renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve. A communal boma area is where guests relax after their evening safari and exchange wildlife stories about recent sightings. During the hot summer months, you can relax at the pool, which overlooks the Sand River. Umkumbe is informal, relaxed, and ideal if you want an authentic safari in a premier private reserve.

Umkumbe Safari Lodge

You will self-drive to Umkumbe Safari Lodge. A transfer can be arranged. At 2:00 pm, you'll check in and once settled in meet at the main camp for coffee and tea before departing on your evening game drive with a sundowner stop in the reserve. You will return to the camp for dinner before retiring to your room for the evening.

02Day 2

Day 2

Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve

You'll wake up with coffee and tea before departing on your morning game drive with a coffee stop in the reserve. You will return to the lodge for breakfast before departing on your bush walk with an armed guide. You will return to the lodge to spend time around the pool or at the main lodge. At 2:00 pm, lunch is served in the dining area. Later, you'll meet at the main lodge for coffee and tea before departing on your evening game drive with a sundowner stop in the reserve. You will return to camp for dinner before retiring to your room for the evening.

Day 3

Departure

You will wake up with coffee and tea before departing on your morning game drive with a coffee stop in the reserve. You will return to the lodge for breakfast. You will check out and depart the Umkumbe Safari Lodge.
