Johannesburg – Shalati Train on the Bridge - Fly-in

Guests make their own way to the Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport to check into their pre-booked flight to the Skukuza Airport. The flight route to the Kruger National Park in the Mpumalanga Province takes you over the wide-open spaces of the Highveld, down the escarpment and through the scenic Lowveld region. You will be collected from the Skukuza Airport, check into your luxury train carriage suite and have time to freshen up. Enjoy a light lunch and relax before departing on an open safari vehicle for your first afternoon game drive in the reserve. Back at the lodge, a delicious dinner under starlight awaits you. You will spend the night in your luxury carriage suite at Shalati Train on the Bridge, and your deal includes lunch and dinner.

02Day 2

Day 2

Guided open vehicle safari drives

You will receive an early wake-up call and be served a hot beverage and rusks before departing on your 3-hour game drive while the sun rises in the east. On return to the lodge, you can enjoy brunch and spend the rest of the day at the pool or just laze around. Be ready for an afternoon game drive with an expert guide at about 16h00 to return in time for another starlit dinner. You will spend the night in your luxury carriage suite at Shalati Train on the Bridge, and your deal includes breakfast, lunch and dinner.

03Day 3

Day 3

Final safari drive and flight to Johannesburg

Rise early, enjoy a hot beverage and rusk, and depart on your last morning game drive. After witnessing a last African sunrise, you return to the lodge for breakfast before departing for Skukuza Airport mid-morning to catch your departure flight back to Johannesburg O.R. Tambo Airport. Your deal today includes breakfast at the lodge.
