After an early breakfast, you'll head to the park headquarters for a briefing before setting off with experienced ranger guides. The trek takes you through lush vegetation and rugged terrain as you follow signs of a habituated gorilla family hidden within the forest. The moment you finally encounter the gorillas is difficult to put into words. Watching a silverback survey his family, observing playful youngsters tumbling through the vegetation, and witnessing the gentle interactions between group members creates an experience that is powerful and deeply moving.
