Nairobi / Samburu National Reserve

You will depart Wilson Airport with your scheduled flight to Samburu where upon arrival, you will be transferred to your camp. You will then check –in, followed by lunch after which there is a chance to relax by the swimming pool before an evening game drive. This fascinating arid reserve is home to Grevy's zebra and reticulated giraffe, as well as Oryx, gerenuk, Somali ostrich and dik dik. You will have an excellent chance of seeing lion, leopard, cheetah, and elephant. Spectacular rocky outcrops, wonderful Domas palms and the shaded Ewaso Nyiro River - the life source for the Samburu reserve, make this reserve scenic.

02Day 2

Day 2

Samburu National Reserve

Today you have an early rise for your estimated morning safari game drive during which you will see more of the Samburu’s wildlife. Early morning, and late afternoon are considered the best times to spot animals at their most active. Return to the lodge for a relaxed breakfast – rest of the morning at leisure. The lodge has a swimming pool and also offers a variety of add-on activities, such as nature walks (some optional activities at an extra cost). After the sumptuous lunch, take a late afternoon safari game drive before returning to the lodge by evening (typically 6pm) in time for a relaxed evening.

03Day 3

Day 3

Samburu National Reserve / Nairobi

After an early breakfast you will proceed for game viewing en route to the Airstrip for your flight departing Samburu for Wilson Airport, thus ending this wonderful Samburu Reserve Trip.
