Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Depart Nairobi in the morning and enjoy a scenic drive through Kenya’s Central highlands, arriving at Ol Pejeta Conservancy around midday. Upon arrival at Sweetwaters Serena Camp, you’ll be greeted with a warm welcome and refreshing drinks as you check into your luxury tent overlooking the waterhole. After a leisurely lunch at the camp’s restaurant, take some time to relax and soak in the tranquil surroundings. In the late afternoon, embark on your first game drive across the conservancy’s diverse landscapes. Ol Pejeta is home to the Big Five, as well as endangered species such as black rhinos, Grevy’s zebras, and the famous Northern white rhinos. As the sun sets, return to camp for a delicious dinner and unwind around the campfire under the starlit African sky.

02Day 2

Day 2

Ol Pejeta Conservancy

Start the day with an early morning game drive, when wildlife is most active and the light is perfect for photography. After spotting lions, elephants, buffalos, and perhaps even elusive leopards, return to camp for a hearty breakfast. Later in the morning, you may choose to visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, the only place in Kenya where you can see rescued chimpanzees. The rest of the day offers flexibility: relax at the camp, take a guided nature walk, or opt for a behind-the-scenes conservation experience to learn about Ol Pejeta’s critical role in wildlife protection. After lunch and some downtime, head out for your afternoon game drive, with the opportunity to visit the Endangered Species Enclosure, home to the last two remaining Northern white rhinos. Return to camp in the evening for dinner and, for those seeking adventure, consider an optional night game drive to discover the conservancy’s nocturnal wildlife.

03Day 3

Day 3

Ol Pejeta Conservancy to Nairobi

Enjoy a relaxed breakfast while watching wildlife gather at the nearby waterhole. Depending on your departure time, you can opt for a short early morning game drive to catch a final glimpse of the conservancy’s incredible fauna. After checking out, begin your journey back to Nairobi, taking with you unforgettable memories of your time in the wild. Whether it’s the thrill of a lion sighting, the peaceful moments at Sweetwaters Serena Camp, or the inspiring conservation efforts witnessed firsthand, your safari at Ol Pejeta will leave a lasting impression.
