Day 1

Diani/Mombasa to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary

You will be picked up from your beach hotel or Nairobi hotel in the early morning hours and depart by road to Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary. You will enjoy an amazing game drive along the way. Upon arrival at the lodge, you will have lunch, relax for a while and then head out for a game drive in the sanctuary searching for lion and other wildlife, until sunset. You will then return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay at Salt Lick Lodge. This lodge is especially memorable for its imaginative structure. A complex of rondavels sits on stilts over a series of waterholes. These 2-story towers, topped by peaked thatched roofs and connected by open-air bridges, evoke an African fantasy of a medieval fortress. The lodge has been built with game viewing in mind. The structure provides you with a panoramic view of the sanctuary, offering spectacular views of the landscape and wildlife.

Day 2

Taita Hills Wildlife Sanctuary to Diani or Mombasa

Have breakfast at the lodge, and take a short game drive as you depart for Mombasa or Diani. Lunch will be provided along the way. Upon arrival in Mombasa/Nairobi, you will be dropped off at your hotel. This is where your safari will end.
