Day 1

Nairobi to Lake Naivasha

Your journey begins with a pick up from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Nairobi hotel. After a short greeting and briefing, you will begin the drive to Lake Naivasha. The drive takes about 2 hours. The road winds through scenic viewpoints, rolling hills and open landscapes, making the journey part of the experience. You will arrive in Lake Naivasha late morning. After checking in at your lodge, you will enjoy lunch and some time to relax and take in the surroundings. In the afternoon, you will head out for a boat ride on Lake Naivasha. The lake is alive at the same time. You will glide past pods of hippos resting in the water, watch fish eagles swoop down to catch their prey. The boat ride is peaceful and grounding, allowing you to experience wildlife from a different and intimate perspective. You will return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and a quiet night surrounded by nature.

Day 2

Hells Gate & Nairobi

After breakfast, you will head to Hell’s Gate National Park. This is one of the few parks in Kenya where you can walk or cycle safely among wildlife. If you choose the cycling option, you will ride through dramatic gorges and open plains, sharing the space with zebras, giraffes, buffalo and gazelles. The experience is relaxed, fun and deeply freeing. For those who prefer not to cycle, a guided walk or game drive is also available at a small fee. After the visit to Hell’s Gate, you will begin the drive back to Nairobi.
