It's home to approximately 25,000 large animals, including the rare black rhinoceros, making it one of the most wildlife-rich areas in Africa. Tarangire National Park, the sixth-largest in Tanzania, is known for its open savannah, iconic baobab trees, and the largest elephant population in northern Tanzania—estimated at over 2,500.

Day 1

Tarangire National Park

You’ll be picked up early in the morning from the airport, hotel, or your residence for a scenic drive of about 3 hours or more to Tarangire National Park, with lunch boxes provided. Upon arrival, enjoy a game drive through the park’s stunning landscapes and spot a variety of wildlife. Pause for lunch at a designated picnic site within the Park, then continue exploring the park in the afternoon. Later, you'll head to Serena Luxury Lodge or similar for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you’ll depart with your lunch boxes for a short drive to Ngorongoro Crater. Along the way, stop at the crater viewpoint for a stunning panoramic view before descending into the crater for a game drive. Explore the remarkable landscapes and rich wildlife until midday, then enjoy lunch at the picnic site beside the hippo pool. After lunch, begin your drive back to your drop-off location in Moshi.
