Daily Game Drives
Experience the magic of the Greater Kruger on our professionally guided morning and afternoon game drives, included in your stay at Zazu Private Bush Lodge. Each drive offers guests the opportunity to explore the diverse landscapes of the Olifants West Nature Reserve, home to the Big Five and an extraordinary variety of wildlife, birds and iconic bushveld scenery. Our open safari vehicle is designed for comfort and excellent visibility, featuring heated seats, individual charging ports, and soft blankets for early mornings and cooler afternoons. A stocked coolerbox is brought along on each drive, ensuring guests have refreshments available throughout the safari. Drives are led by our highly experienced Head Ranger, who shares expert knowledge on animal behaviour, tracking, plant species and the ecological relationships that define this remarkable reserve. Morning drives depart at first light, when predators are most active and the bush is alive with movement. Afternoon drives extend into early evening, offering golden-hour sightings and breathtaking sunsets before returning to the lodge. Each drive lasts approximately three hours and includes comfort stops, photographic opportunities and personalised guiding tailored to guest interests. No two safaris are ever the same—each outing offers a chance to witness unforgettable moments in nature.
