Shamashanga Camp is located in the heart of Sapi Safari area along the Zambezi River.

The camp is set back in a combination of hardwood and tamarind trees allowing it to blend naturally into the wilderness. The camp has 6 en-suite tents designed to allow for panoramic views of the Lower Zambezi River. Focused on green energy and sustainability, Shamashanga Camp runs on solar power providing electricity 24 Hours a day.

Shamashanga is set in a prime location for sports fishing as well as game-viewing on the Zambezi River. The Lower Zambezi River is renowned for the Tiger-fish, a predatory fish, proving to be the Zambezi Rivers most sought after game fish. Fishing guides with over 10 year’s experience allows for an experiance of fishing in luxury. Shamashanga Camp is focused on sustainable tourism, implementing catch and release for all fishing activities.
