Luxury Family Villa

A luxurious double storey villa set in a secluded garden with a private pool, the Princess Mary Suite offers an intimate experience for families or groups of friends seeking privacy and space.

Named after the Royal Princess Mary, who represented the Queen at Zambia's Independence in 1964, the suite is just as enigmatic and charming as the person to whom it pays homage.

The suite can accommodate two to six guests. There is a master en-suite room upstairs, with private balcony overlooking the Zambezi River, and downstairs, there is a twin-single-bedroom and a separate second bathroom.

Up to two additional children's beds can be arranged in the lounge to accommodate a total of six guests. The rest of the ground floor comprises a lounge area, mini-fridge and dining area. Guests may choose to dine privately in the comfort of the suite or at the main lodge. The upstairs bathroom has a shower, double vanity and lavatory with the bath located in the spacious bedroom overlooking the River. The downstairs bathroom has a double vanity, shower and lavatory.

Luxury River Suite

Imagine a place where days are spent languishing on a private deck, dipping into a private plunge pool and gazing out over the tranquil waters of the Zambezi River from a private suite.

Our Luxury River Suites offer spacious, open plan interiors and are the ultimate space in which to relax and unwind after a day spent exploring Victoria Falls, playing lawn games, visiting the nearby attractions or enjoying a game drive.

The suites are tastefully decorated with furniture and fittings made from beautiful Zambezi teak wood and walk-in mosquito nets which swathe the double bed. Glass doors which open to a private outside deck, complete with plunge pool and small secluded garden presenting views of the Zambezi River beyond. The spacious interiors feature a living room and full bathroom amenities. One extra single bed can be added.

Other in-room facilities include: air-conditioning, safe, hairdryer, mini bar fridge with bottled water and soft drinks, fan and mosquito nets.

River Suite

Perfectly positioned on the banks of the Zambezi River, our River Suites offer unimpeded views of the Zambezi River and complete privacy.

Open plan and tastefully decorated with furniture and fittings made from beautiful Zambezi teak wood, they have been designed for comfort and complete relaxation.

Each suite is on a split level and features include a sitting area with glass sliding doors through which to admire the spectacular views, two bathrooms and large mosquito nets swathing the bed. The upstairs bathroom has a shower, vanity and lavatory while the downstairs bathroom has a bath overlooking the river, separate shower, vanity and lavatory.

Other in-room facilities include: air-conditioning, safe, hairdryer, mini bar fridge with bottled water and soft drinks, fan and mosquito nets.

Starbed Treehouse

In addition to the wealth of luxury amenities offered in the Island Treehouses, the 100 square meter double-storey Starbed Treehouses also boast a spacious sitting area, en-suite bathroom with twin vanities and twin rain-showers and a private rooftop sitting area, with its signature Starbed. Absolutely perfect for Honeymooners – or anyone wishing to reconnect with Nature and/or self.

Guests aged 16 years and older may be accommodated on The Island.

Island Treehouse

Set among the trees on the banks of the secluded Kandahar Island, and accessible by boat only, each of the 4 exquisite 95 square meter Island Treehouses accomomodates a maximum of two guests (16 years and older) and features a host of luxury conveniences, elegantly appointed sitting area, open-plan en-suite bathroom and private deck with plunge pool.

Luxury Family Tent

In addition to the host of amenities available in the Luxury Tent, the 119 square meter Luxury Family Tents at Victoria Falls River Lodge offer guests travelling as a family an adjoining tented room.

Comprising of either one single (¾ sized) bed and one bunk bed, or twin ¾ sized beds, where up to three sharing children younger than 17 years old can sleep comfortably; the adjoining children's alcove allows parents a bit more privacy whilst still keeping their children in close proximity.

The expansive en-suite bathrooms are open plan and shared. A curtain may be drawn between the bathroom and main living area thereby offering more privacy as and when required.

Luxury Tent

Accommodating a maximum of two adults, these luxurious 110 square meter thatched tents are fully air-conditioned. Constructed of canvas, glass and wood – each extends out onto a private deck with its own plunge pool and boasts uninterrupted panoramas of the Zambezi River and natural bush.

Boasting a larger than king size bed, comfortable sitting area, open plan bathroom with freestanding bathtub and both indoor and outdoor showers. Twin bedded sleeping configurations are also possible.

Guest Tents

The three guest tents are located on the banks of the Zambezi River with views of the river frontage. Each tent has en-suite bathroom facilities, indoor shower, separate loo and double basins. Decking in front of the tent leads to views of the calming and peaceful flowing waters of the Zambezi River.
